Just a little bit about us:
Over the past few years we have spent numerous enjoyable holidays in France but always went home with the thoughts that we must take the plunge and eventually move to France to live.
In February 2007 we spent our French holiday investigating properties in the Lot area and found our dream home. After a few hectic months of sorting out finances and putting our Bed & Breakfast/Holiday business in North Devon on the market and successfully selling it, the deed was done and our future home would now be France.
We then had the mind blowing task of shipping all our furnishings, cars, tractor, quad bike, horse, pony, two cats and one dog over to France, but thankfully we did it! We arrived at our new home in the Lot et Garonne in August 2007 and knew we had made the right decision.
What we get up to:
My husband, Andy, is a fully qualified builder/carpenter, and at present is in the process of renovating the Farmhouse. He loves reading, walking, cooking, spending time with his dog Dylan and generally enjoying his new life at Borie.
Myself, I am a fully qualified Beauty Therapist, Make-up Artist & Holistic Therapist (yes, you can enjoy Beauty & Holistic Treatments, whilst you holiday with us at Borie). More details...
I am also a very keen horse rider, competing when I can at Dressage. With all the wonderful countryside on our doorstep I get so much pleasure hacking around the chemin's on my horse Filou.
Le Hameau de Borie is located in a wonderful region of France. The Gite and the Chamber D'hote are ready and waiting for you to come and holiday - we hope you visit us soon. |
